For her fourth recital on Alpha Classics, the mezzo-soprano has chosen to record two cycles, Schumann\u2019s well-known\u00a0<em>Frauenliebe und Leben<\/em>\u00a0and Faur\u00e9&#8217;s\u00a0<em>La Chanson d&#8217;\u00c8ve<\/em>, a much more unfamiliar work.\u00a0\u00c9ric Le Sage, a great specialist in the music of Faur\u00e9 and Schumann, is the ideal partner for this introspective journey, which also features extracts from Schumann&#8217;s sublime\u00a0<em>Myrthen<\/em>\u00a0as well as Faur\u00e9&#8217;s famed\u00a0<em>Clair de lune<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Chanson d&#8217;amour<\/em>.
