Performed alongside harpist Xavier de Maistre, the album features a program of intimate arrangements of Latin American songs for tenor and harp.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis album is a very special serenata,\u201d says Rolando. \u201c[It\u2019s] a collection of beautiful traditional folk and art songs from Latin America, a collection of poetry and music of my big homeland.\u201d The songs express themes of nature, love, mourning, joy, and more.
